The deleted files were historical implementation artifacts rather than maintained product documentation. Several described old deploy previews, branch names, line counts, and UI behavior, making the public repository look like an unfinished handoff rather than the source of a production website.
Before deletion, each file was checked for references from the README, site source, tests, CI, package/build configuration, and maintained docs. No surviving project surface depends on them.
Impact
No runtime, site, package, data, or deployment behavior changes. The GitHub root is substantially cleaner and the full history remains available in Git.
