Coder Terminal 1.0.0

One Coder in front of every coding agent you use. Coder works out what each step needs and sends it where it belongs, with Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Grok Build, Devin CLI or Cursor behind it, or Auto choosing for you. Hard-to-undo steps (a deploy, a merge, a secret, a payment, a DNS change) wait for you to press Y or N.

Install

What's in 1.0

  • Every agent behind one Coder: pick in /models, step through them with Shift+Tab, or leave it on Auto. A /models pick pins the chat, and the rail names the model that answered each turn.
  • Streaming from OpenCode over ACP, plus OpenCode's one-time setup handled before the start timer ("Setting up OpenCode (first time only)").
  • Keys: Enter to send, Ctrl+Enter to queue for later, Shift+Enter for a new line. A wordless spinner sits where the reply will appear until its first words arrive.
  • Holds and checks: Coder's guards check every step before it runs, including Windows shells (cmd, PowerShell). PowerShell Coder can't read (-EncodedCommand, script files) is refused.
  • Chats in their own worktrees in a Git repo, including on Windows; headless use with openagents coder chat (--json, --mode opencode, --session).
  • Projects you can share: invite a teammate by GitHub username (openagents projects invite PROJECT --github USER).

Each archive holds every program for its platform: coder, openagents and microcoder, plus coder-boundary on Windows. Check downloads against SHA256SUMS-coder-1.0.0. macOS builds are signed and notarized.
