Synapse Blade Blocker 0.2.1 adds a standalone Windows Patch/Restore window and independent detection of existing blocker edits.

  • Double-click Start-BladeBlocker.cmd for read-only status, automatic preparation, and verified Patch or Restore with administrator approval only for the selected operation.
  • Detect current, earlier, and incomplete blocker edits directly from archive contents, including installations without local patch metadata.
  • Keep actions pinned to the displayed installation, handle Node stderr correctly in the Windows PowerShell 5.1 background runspace, and show local recovery locations after verification failure.
  • Select preserved preparation folders for restoration and copy sanitized diagnostics. Existing command-line usage remains available.

Download and extract Synapse-Blade-Blocker-0.2.1.zip, then follow README.md. Requires Windows, PowerShell 5.1 or 7, and Node.js 22 or newer. Keep the extracted package and its prepared originals for Restore. Razer components, patched vendor archives, and local backups are not included.

Validation: 21 source tests, 88 fresh prepared-module checks, and scratch operation/desktop tests under Windows PowerShell 5.1 and PowerShell 7 passed. The extracted release package passed source and both PowerShell suites, including asynchronous native-process regressions. Read-only WPF inspection passed at minimum width. The user confirmed the attended UAC/Patch/Restore window trial succeeded. Hosted CI could not start because of account billing; local validation is recorded separately.

Claude Fable completed an independent read-only review. Confirmed correctness findings were reproduced and fixed; recommendations that would weaken existing safety checks were not adopted.

This remains experimental. The registry covers 40 reviewed Blade product IDs; physical evidence covers a Blade 16 and Pro Click V2, not all models or peripherals. This reversible compatibility patch is not a security-isolation guarantee. See VALIDATION.md.
