Release list
OpenNOW PS5 0.2.0
This is the first OpenNOW PS5 release from the Open Cloud Gaming repository. Tag 0.2.0 maps to native content version 00.002.046, title ID PPSA99082. It has not been tested on a console yet.
Audio fix: stereo only
On 00.002.045, sessions could fail during setup with "Server did not offer supported audio". NVIDIA's WebRTC offer can include a second audio section for the microphone, and the multichannel audio code rejected any offer with more than one audio section. This build reads game audio from the first audio section and ignores the others, as earlier builds did.
Surround audio is turned off for now. Every session requests and plays stereo (opus/48000/2). Settings → Display & audio shows stereo as a fixed value. If you saved Auto, 5.1, or 7.1 before, that choice stays in your settings file, but the app still requests stereo.
Also in this release
- Video freezes after network bursts are shorter. When the compressed-video queue is full, the app keeps the newest queued keyframe and every frame that depends on it. Before, it emptied the queue and asked the server for a new keyframe (#12).
- The other changes since the legacy 0.1 prerelease are listed in the README and development build notes. They include Library and Settings screens, custom stream settings, the artwork cache, launcher keyboard and mouse controls, signaling fixes, and saved login in the sandbox.

Validation and limits
Host regressions passed under AddressSanitizer and UndefinedBehaviorSanitizer. They include a test offer with a microphone audio section. The native GPU package built and passed its import audit. No one has played this build on a console yet, so live audio and the shorter video freezes still need confirmation.
