I have seen previous Ambarella S2L support in git history for the firmware but note it is now missing at this time.
I am a developer with experience on various embedded systems (though none on ambarella SOCs) and was interested in what openIPC would need to fully support hardware with these SOCs (kernel and bootloader are a given and probably already solved but what about any userspace software or custom drivers for interacting the image sensors?).
CC @dimerr since you added the S3L support and most likely have an understanding of the requirements and anything lacking on that platform and this one.
For context, I have a couple of older ADT Pulse Cameras which are ambarella S2L based cameras https://fccid.io/P27MDC835/Internal-Photos/Internal-Photos-3113844 . These are very widely available and used in the USA.
