• Audio input levels — Live meters in Audio settings show LUCI is actually hearing your mic and your meeting, and a confirmation step now warns you before loading a heavy model while recording.
• Screen + mic recording alerts — If screen audio fails while your mic keeps working, LUCI tells you instead of failing quietly.
• Cleaner meeting transcripts — Fewer dropped words at chunk boundaries, no more duplicated lines, and filler phrases are filtered more conservatively so real speech survives.
• Model downloads — The model list now cross-checks what's actually on disk, so LUCI stops claiming a model you already downloaded is missing.
