Artifacts

This release includes the full desktop artifact set: macOS DMG/ZIP, Windows installer, Linux AppImage/DEB/RPM/tar.gz, and SHA256SUMS.

Notes

The Windows x64 installer is Authenticode-signed by SignPath through GitHub Actions. macOS and Linux artifacts remain unsigned.

Linux x64 packages rebuilt — 2026-09-25

The four Linux x86-64 downloads on this release (AppImage, DEB, RPM, and tar.gz) now contain the pet taskbar/Alt+Tab and window-manager close fixes from merged PR #234, while retaining keyboard input (#227, #233). They were built from main commit 4d5d0dd393e18cbe983d5cfa1b32b7bf3b2b1ce9. Linux x86-64 CI run 36066685521 built and payload-validated all four packages, then installed the DEB and verified normal sandboxed X11 startup, the pet window's taskbar/pager exclusion states, and window-manager close hiding the pet without exiting the app. KDE and GNOME VM checks also covered visible Alt+Tab exclusion and chat typing on arm64 builds. The x86-64 RPM was not run on an RPM desktop, and the x86-64 AppImage launcher was not mounted in CI.

SHA256SUMS now covers the replacement Linux downloads and the unchanged macOS/Windows assets. The original v4.0.0 tag and GitHub source archives still point to the original release commit, not the Linux rebuild commit. The app version remains 4.0.0, so existing installations will not get an automatic newer-version notification or ordinary package-manager upgrade: download and manually reinstall/replace your Linux package.
