Galaxy Android v0.0.1c

100% Native ARM64 Android Port

What's Changed in v0.0.1c

  • Fixed Mario's Blank Eyes (Fixes #10): Corrected TEV combiner 8-bit unsigned alpha wrap so the eyelid mesh alpha test discards properly, displaying Mario's eyes and pupils across OpenGL ES and Vulkan backends.
  • Fixed Water Reflections & Transparent Refraction (Fixes #10): Removed VR screen-space texgen overriding on flat mobile screens, allowing GameCube GX texture matrices to evaluate planar reflections (Peach's Castle lake) and transparent objects correctly in world space without tracking the camera viewport.
  • Fixed Invisible Mario & Character Shading (Fixes #8, #9): Fixed illegal vector ternary evaluation in vertex shader generator that caused shader compilation failures on Qualcomm Adreno and ARM Mali GPUs.
  • Fixed Landscape Orientation: Forced full landscape rendering in GameActivity and MainActivity across all devices without orientation skew.
  • Fixed Touch Joystick Drift (Fixes #7): Added explicit joystick resetting and deadzone handling on touch release.
  • Fixed Action Button Crashes (Fixes #1, #6): Declared Android VIBRATE permission in AndroidManifest.xml and added null-safety checks to prevent crash upon pressing action buttons.
  • Restored Full On-Screen Controls HUD (Fixes #5): Defaulted graphics engine to OpenGL ES 3.2 with guaranteed touch controls HUD visibility and clean GL state isolation.
  • Extended Handheld Gamepad Support (Fixes #3): Added keycode mappings and analog axis deadzone calibration for physical handhelds like AYN Thor / Odin.
  • Performance & Pacing on Budget Mali Devices (Fixes #2): Smoothed frame pacing and added in-game resolution scaling options (480p / 720p HD / 1080p FHD).
  • Vulkan 1.0 Architecture Progress: Integrated native Vulkan pipeline and SPIR-V shader generation modules.
