The OCI image build (
build-rock) has been failing because a recent rockcraft/craft-parts refuses to migrateupdate-alternativessymlinks whose targets are not primed, and aborts withCopyFileNotFound:nanoregisters/usr/bin/editor -> /etc/alternatives/editorpython3registers/usr/bin/pdb3 -> pdb3.12Both packages sit in the rock's
utilspart as debug-only conveniences — neither is used at runtime (ipp-usb is a Go binary and the run scripts are#!/bin/sh). Dropping them removes the offending symlinks and the rock builds again.Verified:
build-rockis green on the branch.
