0.6.4 — Setup, generate, and CI deploy fixes
28 September 2026. Patch on 0.6.3.
Upgrade if generate printed an empty error for a missing detection model, a GitHub production deploy never ran, setup rewrote a README or platform comments, or MCP deploy_rule crashed. Regenerate a workflow with opentide setup ci so production deploy and the checkout depth match this release.
Install
pip install opentide==0.6.4
export OPENTIDE_REPO_ROOT=/path/to/detection-repo
opentide validate --strictFixed
generateexits1with a JSONmessagethat names the missingdetection_modelUUID, instead of empty stdout and a bareException(#352).- MCP
deploy_rulereturns a structured failure for an unknown platform or a platform with no tenants.deployment_statusisdeployed: falsewhen the config has noexternal_idand no tenants (#345). --json setupquotes the path it would write, so a target of.no longer reads as..(#346).- Explorer pages are offered only for GitHub. GitLab and Azure warn and write no Explorer job (#347).
- GitHub production deploy needs
generate, so a push to the default branch still deploys when staging is skipped. Deploy jobs fetch full history (#348). setup --yes --ci nonescaffolds the repository and writes no pipeline. CI-only flags without a real CI platform are named in warnings (#349).- Re-running setup keeps an edited README,
.gitignore, and comments in an existing platform toml (#350). lint --fixreports metadata on the path it just renamed (#353).- Usage and CLI pages no longer tell the reader to run a command that exits
2(#354).
Verify
python -c "import opentide; print(opentide.__version__)"
opentide setup --yes --name "Tutorial Detections" --org "Example Corp" --platform sentinel --path /tmp/tutorial-detections
opentide --repo /tmp/tutorial-detections validate --strictExpect 0.6.4.
