• AccessiWeather now keeps a log file, so there's something to look at when a problem needs reporting. Logs land in a logs folder next to your settings and roll over at 5 MB, keeping the last three. Until now the app only wrote to the console, which installed builds don't have — meaning nothing was recorded anywhere. A portable copy keeps its logs inside the portable folder, so it still leaves nothing behind on the machine.

• NOAA Weather Radio auto-tune no longer turns the radio on for alerts a real weather radio would sleep through. AccessiWeather decided from the alert's name, so a Special Marine Warning started the stream whether or not it was actually broadcast with a SAME tone — and the same name is used for both. It now reads the SAME event code the National Weather Service puts on the alert, the very code a physical radio listens for. In a sample of 4,000 recent alerts this silenced 84 that should never have played, and it also catches ones the old list missed, like a Fire Warning.
