• Driving keys now work with JAWS without the pass-through key. JAWS hands the game each arrow key as an instant tap rather than a held key, so holding Up, Down, Left, or Right to accelerate, brake, or steer did nothing until you pressed JAWS Key and 3 before every key. The game now reads the stream of taps JAWS sends while a key is held as the hold it is, so you drive with the same keys as everyone else. Menus were never affected. Two limits remain, because JAWS only re-sends a held key about four times a second and never says how long you held it: letting go of a pedal or the wheel takes effect about a third of a second later, and a single quick tap of a pedal reads as a short press of about half a second.
