2.0.2
2.0.1
- Clicking an author or series in a search result card now opens it in the main window, so you can go straight to the rest of their books.
- Books with no language set are now shown under "Not specified" instead of being dropped or grouped wrongly.
- The book list now scrolls to the selected book even when that view is already open in the main window.
- Keyboard focus moves to the book table after you jump from search, so you can use the arrow keys right away.
2.0.0
- New books table. The book list now uses a native macOS table. It scrolls more smoothly, fits the pane width, and supports full keyboard navigation, Space and context menus. Column headers include a date-filter popover, and its Find button only becomes active after you change the dates.
- More reliable export. The progress window now lists failed books, and you can cancel even in the middle of a book. File names are built correctly, with name collisions and length limits handled. Export stops cleanly if the destination folder becomes unavailable.
- Smarter startup with external and network drives. If the library disk is disconnected or not responding, the app now shows a dedicated screen. A network share mounted under a different name (for example
flibusta-1) is picked up automatically, without changing your saved paths. - Better search. Search now finds co-authors and normalizes Unicode, so accents and Greek final sigma no longer cause misses. The language filter also applies to authors and series. Flibusta-specific genres are now recognized.
- Refined layout. The book card shows the cover in its own column, with the annotation below the metadata. The app remembers sidebar width and card height between launches. Search and the sidebar can be toggled from the toolbar and menu. The app now uses a single window.
- Stability and performance. Damaged ZIP archives, corrupted caches and malformed INPX records no longer crash the app. Memory use on large libraries is much lower. Book cards open faster because only the book's description is parsed, not the whole text. The cover cache is now limited to 200 MB.
1.3.5
- Filter books by date added: a new date filter in the books table lets you narrow the list to a single day or a custom range, with a built-in month calendar for picking dates.
- The date a book was added to the library is now read from INPX records and shown in the books table and the book detail panel.
- Active date filters combine with the current search and context selection, and the book count updates to reflect the filtered set.
- Library caches use an updated format to store per-book dates — existing libraries are re-indexed once on first launch after the update.
1.3.4
1.3.3
- Selected book check marks are now cleared automatically after a successful export, so the next round of selections starts from a clean state.
- The main library view refreshes when the export window closes, keeping selection counts and book status in sync with the export result.
1.3.2
1.3.1
1.3.0
- Added a fuzzy search window (opened via the magnifying-glass button next to the sidebar) that presents results as a modal sheet sized to 80% of the main window
- Search results are grouped into authors, series, and a separate books bucket, with pagination inside each author and series block
- Export action is now available directly from search results via the context menu
- Improved search ranking using Damerau-Levenshtein scoring, with deduplication so books already shown under their author or series no longer repeat in the books bucket
