PyFFmpegCore v0.3.1: bounded batch execution
PyFFmpegCore remains a local-first beta. FFmpeg and FFprobe stay explicit
system dependencies. This patch fixes per-job timeout behavior for the Python
batch API and rejects non-finite timeout values.
What changed
BatchRunner.run(..., policy=BatchPolicy(per_job_timeout_seconds=...))now
passes the configured deadline into every job's execution plan.- Direct execution and batch policies reject NaN and infinite timeouts instead
of silently running without an effective deadline.
Verification
- Exact release artifact checks on Linux, macOS, and Windows with Python 3.10
and 3.14: release workflow - Batch timeout behavior
- Compatibility policy

Timeouts bound how long the managed process runner waits. They do not sandbox
untrusted media or guarantee that external child processes have no side effects.
