Maven Plugin

About

Maven is the most commonly used dependency manager for Java development. It's purpose is to simplify the build process of complex (and simple) project in a world where existing code libraries are rampant. The entire build process is managed by a single XML file containing the entire set of dependencies used within the project's packages.

It can also be used to perform certain operations during the compilation, building or testing of a code base. By example, there is a javadoc plugin which is used to require javadoc documentation to be written for all methods.
