v2.1.2 - New: Additional Ways to Pass the Private Gateway Token and regular security patch

New Features

--token-file <path>

  • Pass the token via a file instead of a CLI argument
  • Recommended: restrict file permissions to 600

OUTSYSTEMSCC_TOKEN environment variable

  • Pass the token via an environment variable instead of a CLI argument

Upgrade Recommendation

💡 Recommended for all deployments

No configuration changes required — existing --header usage continues to work unchanged. Adopt --token-file or OUTSYSTEMSCC_TOKEN at your own pace.

⚠️ Important — Upcoming Deprecation

  • --header "token: ..." will be deprecated in a future release
  • Recommended: migrate to --token-file or OUTSYSTEMSCC_TOKEN

⚠️ Important (v2.0.5 and above)

  • No shell support (sh/bash not available) as base image changed to Distroless for security reason.
  • Deployments using ["/bin/sh"] will fail.

Use Kubernetes variable syntax:
