Huge changes!
We now utilize the V3 PaperMC API,
as well as some minor behind the scene changes.

Features Added:

  • Now supports V3 API
  • By default, PaperMC now uses a special user agent string: PaperMC-Update/VERSION (https://github.com/OwenCochell/PaperMC-Update)
  • Added option to specify a custom user agent string, which is now REQUIRED by PaperMC (see readme for info)
  • We now use pathlib under the hood
  • Very minor file reading/writing optimizations when preforming download and checksum check

Bug Fixes:

  • A bunch of misc. errors related to old V2 API usage

Other Fixes:

  • Added documentation on custom user agent string argument
  • Added section describing why you should define a custom agent string
