v2.0.0-beta.6
Pre-release
Pre-release
Preview (beta) build of Network Optimizer 2.0 (with new Multi-Site support) for testers. Pin the tag below - :latest stays on stable 1.x. Feedback welcome.
Beta.5 plus the below. Already on beta.5? No agent update needed, nothing changed on the agent. Coming from an earlier beta, update your site agents as beta.5 described.
New in this beta
- Transit route changes don't count against your access line - When a transit or backbone network on your path goes fully unreachable for more than a few minutes, that's a routing (BGP) change, not your access line dropping packets. ISP Health now carves that window out of your access-layer Packet Loss and shows it as a path change on the timeline and RTT chart. The network's own health still reflects it; brief flaps and lossy-but-reachable transit still count as loss.
- "That was me" on outages - Mark your own maintenance (pulled the coax to add a splitter, unplugged a fiber to clean the connector, swapped gear) so it doesn't count against your ISP Health score. On each outage and its finding, with undo. Remembered per site.
Also improved
- Pull to refresh on ISP Health - Pull down on the tab to recompute the scorecard instead of reloading the page.
Fixes since beta.5
- Mobile top bar - Scrolling up reliably reveals it and keeps it visible.
- Mobile site switcher - No longer goes tap-dead after the top bar auto-hides.
- ISP Health findings on mobile - Cleaned up cramped, mislaid cards on narrow screens.
New to the 2.0 beta? See the beta.5 notes for the Multi-Site overview.

image: ghcr.io/ozark-connect/speedtest:2.0.0-beta.6docker compose pull && docker compose up -dProxmox - new install? Run the standard installer first, then pin the beta below:
bash -c "$(wget -qLO - https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Ozark-Connect/NetworkOptimizer/main/scripts/proxmox/install.sh)"Upgrade (new and existing). Beta upgrades migrate your database and can't roll back to stable 1.x, so snapshot the LXC first:
pct exec <CT_ID> -- bash -c "cd /opt/network-optimizer && cp -n data/network_optimizer.db data/network_optimizer.db.pre-beta6 2>/dev/null; sed -i -E 's#(network-optimizer|speedtest):(latest|2\.0\.0-beta\.[0-9]+)#\1:2.0.0-beta.6#' docker-compose.yml && docker compose pull && docker compose up -d"macOS (native):
cd NetworkOptimizer && git fetch --tags && git checkout v2.0.0-beta.6 && ./scripts/install-macos-native.sh
