On-Site Agent update (the v2.8.0 Agent, unchanged in v2.8.1-v2.8.6): if you skipped v2.8.0, the measured per-client WAN accounting needs the v2.8.0 Agent on your UniFi Gateway, and the switch-port naming fix needs it on any Agent that does your SNMP collection. Open Settings - Multi-Site, expand your site, and run the upgrade command there; on a UniFi Gateway, Run It for Me runs it for you over SSH. Your enrollment is kept, and the app prompts you when an Agent is behind. If you updated on v2.8.0-preview8, or on v2.8.0-v2.8.5, you're set.

Performance Tweaks unlocked on UniFi OS 6.0.9 EA for the UCG line, plus fixes to Firmware Rollout and WAN speed tests. See the v2.8.0, v2.8.1, v2.8.2, v2.8.3, v2.8.4, and v2.8.5 release notes for what's new in v2.8.0+.

Performance Tweaks

• UniFi OS 6.0.9 EA on the UCG line - verified and supported (live-verified on a UCG-Fiber). The UXG line's ceiling stays at 6.0.5.
• Fix: Update and Redeploy did nothing on firmware past the ceiling - on a tweak you already had installed, the confirmation opened and then closed without deploying or saying why. The firmware check now applies to new deploys only, and a refused or failed deploy tells you the reason (#1226, thanks @sergiopadure for the report).

Firmware Rollout

• Fix: a switch upgrade still raised Device Offline and WAN outage alerts - with the usual alerts set to skip, a rollout held them only for the devices directly behind the switch. It now holds them for everything that switch cuts off, which on a self-hosted UniFi OS Server can be most of the site.

Alerts & Schedule

• Fix: two WAN speed tests scheduled for the same time - the second one failed with "WAN speed test returned no result". Scheduled WAN speed tests on a site now take turns, and one that finds a test already running waits for it instead of failing (#1225, thanks @marchingon12 for the report).
• Fix: a failed scheduled WAN speed test was recorded as Success with 0 / 0 Mbps - it now fails the run with the test's own error.
• Fix: a failed Gateway (Direct) test showed a block of JSON as its error - on a schedule and on the WAN Speed Test page. It now shows the error message itself.
