UMR v0.1.4 Better Thumbnails and TMDb integration

New chrome extension!

For Chromium users, I created a little chrome extension that will listen for tabs with audio playing and POST that URL to the remoted. This is so that we can parse the URL to find out the service you are watching on. This is useful for two things

• higher quality thumbnails for YouTube
• TMDb look ups

TMDb integration!

Just add your API key via env var or CLI Flag and now, whenever you play a movie or TV on HBO, UMR will use the API key to look up the movie poster and display that as the artwork. Just provides a cleaner feeling overall. Some services like Netflix don't allow this as they don't expose what title you are watching, only the name Netflix, so they just get an svg

General Cleanup

Added a "no artwork found" artwork so at least something pretty is there when nothing is found. I don't listen to media locally on my device so I haven't worked on that side of things. But perhaps one day

Installation

Install (binary):

Download the tarball for your arch, e.g. remoted-linux-amd64.tar.gz
tar -xf remoted-linux-amd64.tar.gz
./remoted-linux-amd64 (set REMOTED_TOKEN/REMOTED_BIND/REMOTED_PORT as needed)
Install (Go):

go install github.com/ozdotdotdot/UMR/cmd/remoted@v0.1.4
