Accept stable core 0.8 alongside the previously supported versions, keeping the bounded PNG/JPEG conversion API unchanged. Development validation is locked to published core 0.7.1; no development branch is required by consumers.
Validation: PHP 8.3, 8.4 and 8.5 CI, 31 tests / 99 assertions, static analysis, formatting, independent qpdf/pypdf example validation, Composer validation and advisory audit. The same tests pass against the core 0.8 candidate on all three PHP versions.
Installation documentation and changelogs are updated in English and French.
