v1.2.0: video recording with sound
This release adds video recording with sound to Epicpkmn11's dsi-camera.
Copy dsi-camera.nds to your SD card and launch it in DSi mode (for example from TWiLight Menu++). The cameras only work on a DSi, or a 3DS in DSi mode.

What you get
- Video with sound: recordings go to
sd:/DCIM/VIDEO/REC_####.AVI: 256x192 uncompressed video plus 16-bit mono audio from the mic. - Plays as-is in VLC. To make an MP4 for your phone, use
convert.py(needs Python 3 and ffmpeg):That gives a 1024x768 MP4 with crisp, nearest-neighbor pixels.python convert.py REC_0000.AVI --scale 4 - Frame rate: about 13-15 fps in daylight and 9-11 fps indoors. The camera sensor is the limit, not the SD card.
- Audio stays in sync: every frame is timestamped, so sound lines up even when the frame rate changes.
- Live status screen: fps, audio level, SD speed, buffer and free space.
- Safe stops: if the battery dies, you only lose the last few seconds. Recording stops cleanly when the SD card is full.
- About 5 GB per hour. Long recordings are split into ~12-minute files, and
convert.pycan join them back together.
Photos still save to sd:/DCIM/100DSI00/ as before.
