Arbitrium v0.1.0 — Initial Release

Persistent shell MCP server for Claude Code. Where Velle wills and Expergis perceives, Arbitrium commands.

Features

  • Persistent sessions: Shell state (env vars, working directory, aliases) survives across tool calls
  • Full output capture: Sentinel-based detection returns complete command output with exit codes
  • Shell auto-detection: Probes Git Bash (full PATH), pwsh, PowerShell, cmd.exe — no hard dependencies
  • 4 MCP tools: arbitrium_spawn, arbitrium_exec, arbitrium_list, arbitrium_close
  • Session logging: Every command and output written to ./logs/ with timestamps
  • Multiple concurrent sessions: Run several shells with different working directories
  • Timeout handling: Configurable per-command timeout with partial output on timeout

Requires

  • Python 3.10+
