What's Changed

  • Added first-class Caddy HTTP monitoring for one exact hostname per target,
    using native per_host metrics from Caddy 2.11.4. Existing charts show
    requests, HTTP errors, and average response time without application
    instrumentation. Collection success does not establish upstream application
    health; application runtime and dependency health remain unavailable.
  • Added Caddy setup guidance for same-server and private Docker deployments,
    plus a public integration smoke journey covering traffic and host isolation.
  • Preserve Caddy counter continuity through stored history, with gaps at
    detected resets and source changes rather than misleading traffic spikes.
  • Display JVM CPU utilization as a percentage and Metrics v1 process CPU in
    cores. Explain assumed units for historical samples and omit samples with
    conflicting units. Handle host CPU counter boundaries safely.
  • Clarify first-time setup and publish the metric reference and units.
