Install or update

Installation guide · Project and screenshots

For a fresh installation:

curl -fsSL https://panasms.github.io/updates/install.sh | sudo bash

Existing installations: select Stable in Settings → System updates, check for updates and install 0.2.15. The updater verifies signatures, creates a backup and checks service health. Modules are independently versioned and updated through the module manager.

Included

  • Responsive desktop/mobile interface, light/dark themes and English, Russian and Ukrainian translations.
  • Disks, RAID, filesystems, encryption, SMART checks, shared folders and user management.
  • Network configuration, connection sharing and fallback Wi-Fi access where supported by hardware.
  • Signed system updates with rollback/recovery, a module catalog and notification delivery.
  • Optional Files, Terminal, Cloud Sync and Containers modules; Google Drive/Dropbox integration and external-account connections.
  • Hardware-aware cooling and disk idle control, including the verified software standby controller.

Validated targets and limits

ARM64: Raspberry Pi OS 13 and Debian 13-based Armbian on Raspberry Pi 5 with Radxa Penta SATA HAT. AMD64: Debian 13 and Ubuntu 24.04 LTS virtual machines. Other boards and PCs are not individually certified. RHEL-family distributions are not part of this release.

Cooling, USB networking and Wi-Fi access-point features depend on hardware and drivers. Captive-portal popups depend on the client OS; direct access to the panel remains available. The updater restores PaNasMs packages and configuration, not the entire operating system or user data. This release does not imply completed screen-reader acceptance.

Exact source revisions are recorded in release-lock.json. Signed ARM64/AMD64 packages and build provenance are published in PaNasMs/updates.
