macOS
Open the DMG and drag optees.app to Applications.
Official release artifacts are Developer ID signed and notarized
when the repository has Apple signing secrets configured.
Contributor/test builds without those secrets are ad-hoc signed and
may still require right-click optees.app → Open on first launch.
Windows
Use optees-windows-x64-setup.exe for a normal per-user
installation under Local AppData. The portable ZIP is intended for
temporary or restricted environments and is not an installer.
Windows Defender SmartScreen may warn about an unrecognised publisher.
Click More info → Run anyway.
Linux
On Ubuntu or Debian, install the native package:
sudo apt install ./optees-linux-x86_64.debOptees then appears in the desktop application launcher. The
AppImage remains available as a portable alternative:
chmod +x optees-linux-x86_64.AppImage
APPIMAGE_EXTRACT_AND_RUN=1 ./optees-linux-x86_64.AppImageIf the app fails to start, install: sudo apt install libgl1 libegl1
