v1.9.0
Immutable
release. Only release title and notes can be modified.
Added
- Inbound SCIM provisioning. WeftID can now act as a SCIM 2.0 receiver, letting an
upstream identity provider (Okta, Entra ID, and others) create, update, and deactivate
users and groups in WeftID in real time, so deprovisioned users lose access immediately
instead of at their next sign-in. Each identity provider gets a SCIM Provisioning tab
with a SCIM base URL and bearer-token management (tokens are shown once and stored hashed,
with no rotation/recovery path). Provisioned changes are replayed to downstream
SCIM-enabled service providers, and cross-IdP rebinds are handled. Setup guides for Okta
and Entra are included. - Admin email notification when the daily idle-user job deactivates accounts, listing the
affected users (name, email, last activity) and the configured inactivity threshold.
Changed
- Renamed the user lifecycle action and state from "Inactivated" to "Deactivated" across the
UI and documentation, reserving "inactive"/"inactivity" for the idle condition that can
lead to deactivation. Stored status values are unchanged. - WeftID now trusts the reverse proxy's forwarded client IP and scheme (configurable via
FORWARDED_ALLOW_IPS, default*), so per-IP rate limits (login, SCIM auth, and others)
see the real client address instead of the proxy's. Self-hosters using the bundled
nginx/Caddy setup need no action.
