uvdock 0.1.0
Dock your code into an AWS Lambda MicroVM. Bring an existing Lambda handler, attach it, and get a running MicroVM you can invoke like a function — with state that stays warm between calls.
Added
- Zero-dependency PID-1 runtime that bridges HTTP to the Lambda handler contract. Loads both CommonJS (
exports.handler) and ESM (export const handler) handlers. - Two invoke modes:
- HTTP mode — wraps requests as Function URL v2.0 events
- Invoke mode (
POST /2015-03-31/functions/function/invocations) — payload is the event, return value is the response
- Lifecycle hooks (
/ready,/run,/suspend,/resume,/terminate) with safe defaults; override viaonRun/onSuspend/onResume/onTerminateexports. invoke.mjs— alambda.invoke()-shaped client; auth-token handling delegated touvlink.build.sh— converts a Lambda deployment package in S3 into a MicroVM image, withENV_VARSpassthrough.- Serialized-by-default concurrency (
ADAPTER_CONCURRENCY, matches Lambda's one-at-a-time model) and a 6 MB request body cap. - 24-assertion test suite — no AWS required.
Verified
End-to-end on live AWS Lambda MicroVMs: the same deployment package runs unchanged on both Lambda and a MicroVM, returns identical results, and keeps in-memory state warm across invocations.
