@ParendumOU ParendumOU released this 24 Oct 15:41

Your reading list and watched pages on your phone: read state that syncs, articles fetched for links saved on the phone, and page-monitor status for the Corvus mobile app.

Download

Platform File
Windows (installer) Corvus-Setup-0.12.0.exe
Windows (portable, no install) Corvus-Portable-0.12.0.exe
Linux (any distro) Corvus-0.12.0-x86_64.AppImage
Debian / Ubuntu corvus_0.12.0_amd64.deb

Check your download against SHA256SUMS.txt. The installers are not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC" on first run: choose More info, then Run anyway. Installed 0.2.0 and later apps update automatically, and so does the portable build from 0.5.0 on. Coming from 0.2.0? Read "Before you update" in the 0.3.0 notes first.

The Android app is a separate download: see Corvus for mobile 0.2.0.

Reading list

  • Read state: corvus://reading has Mark read / Mark unread, synced with your other devices
    and the Corvus mobile app.
  • Links saved on your phone: a link saved to the reading list from the mobile app arrives
without its article; Corvus fetches the page (public addresses only, without your cookies) and
keeps the reader-mode article, which then syncs back to the phone.

Sync

  • Watched pages on your phone: Corvus publishes what its page monitor last saw of each
watched page (last check and change, the change summary, whether your "Notify me when…"
condition holds), so the mobile app can show it. Watches added on the phone are monitored here.
  • Sync server: the server now accepts that status (collection watch_status). If you host
your own, update it (git pull, then docker compose up -d --build sync-server); an older
    server simply leaves it out.
