[v0.8.5] - 2026-07-20

Highlights

A maintenance release with no user-visible feature changes: Electron is upgraded from 34 to 43 to pick up current Chromium and Node security fixes, the build toolchain is refreshed to electron-vite 5 and vite 7, and residual npm advisories in undici and @babel/core are cleared. A CI fix ensures Electron 43's prebuilt is fully extracted before the legal step, unblocking packaged builds on all three platforms.
