nue-kernel v0.1 is the first tagged release of a hobby i386 kernel written from scratch in C and assembly. It boots via GRUB (Multiboot), brings up a VGA text terminal, GDT, and IDT with full CPU exception and hardware IRQ handling, translates PS/2 keyboard input, manages physical memory with a bitmap frame allocator, and drops into an interactive shell with info, help, clear, mem, and reboot commands — a complete, demonstrable boot-to-prompt milestone.
