Machines: hand the heavy work to a real computer

  • Add any server or computer you can SSH into under Connections > Machines: a VPS, a university or work server, your own PC over Tailscale. Sign in with a password, a key you already use, or a new key made on the phone. A machine can also be reached through another one (a login server).
  • The agent runs commands there, starts long jobs that keep running in the background, checks on them, and copies files both ways. Anything that changes a machine asks you first (looking around never does), unless you switch on Run without asking for it.
  • The agent only sees machine names. Addresses, passwords and keys stay encrypted on the phone.

Also new

  • Files land in the chat. Ask for a file from one of your machines and it shows up as a card you can open or save to Downloads.
  • Approvals you can read. Commands show as a terminal line and app actions as labelled fields instead of raw JSON. Once you answer, the card folds to one line.
  • Several accounts per app. Connect two Outlooks, four Gmails, any app: tap Add on a connected app. The agent picks the right account and keeps each account's data in that account.
  • The chat no longer gets stuck. A broken tool history ("role 'tool' must be a response…") used to block every message until you cleared the app's data. It now repairs itself.

Connect apps your way again

  • Connections works with Composio Connect keys (ck_). Browse the popular apps with their logos, tap Connect, sign in, and your agent can use the app straight away. Connected apps sit at the top with Disconnect. For anything not in the list, search and tap Search all 500+ apps.
  • A proper Connect card in chat. When your agent needs an app, you no longer get a bare link. A card shows the app's logo and name, why the agent needs it, and Connect / Decline. Connect opens the sign-in, and the agent carries on by itself once you're connected. The same card shows on Home and in the notification.

Self-hosted servers over HTTP (opt-in)

Connecting to a server on your own network (Ollama, LM Studio, vLLM, Strata and others) over plain http:// used to fail with "CLEARTEXT communication not permitted".

  • Pick Other (OpenAI-compatible) and enter your http:// base URL. A warning appears with a checkbox: Allow unencrypted HTTP for this server.
  • Requests and your API key travel in plain text when it's ticked, so only use it on a network you trust, like your home LAN.
  • HTTPS stays the default and is still recommended (a reverse proxy, or tailscale serve). Without the tick, plain HTTP is blocked with a clear message and nothing is sent.
  • The README has a new "Self-hosted servers" section.

Fixes for the issues people reported:

  • Composio keys: every kind now works. Project keys (ak_), personal user keys (uak_), organization keys, and Composio Connect consumer keys (ck_). Consumer keys were refused with "No authentication provided"; they now connect through Composio Connect, and this release was tested end to end with a real consumer key. If Composio's server has a hiccup the app retries, and if a key is refused you see Composio's actual reason.
  • Gemini: new API keys no longer fail the setup check (Google retired Gemini 2.5 for new keys; the default is now gemini-flash-latest), and Gemini 3 tool use no longer fails with "missing thought_signature".
  • Sign in with Google inside the agent's browser: popups open properly and the browser presents itself as Chrome.
  • If the agent asked you a question and you type a reply instead of tapping a button, your reply now answers it.

  • Connections: Composio consumer keys (they start with ck_, from Composio Connect) now work. The agent gets Composio Connect's tools: find the right tool, connect an app (it sends you the sign-in link), and run actions. Anything that sends, posts, pays or deletes still asks you first.

  • Browser: also sends Chrome's client-hint headers (not "Android WebView"), so more sign-in pages treat it as Chrome.
  • Connections: Composio works out what kind of key you pasted (project, personal user or organization key) and uses it the right way. If a key is refused, you see Composio's actual reason.

  • Fix: with Gemini 3 models (e.g. gemini-flash-latest) the agent failed on its first tool use with "Function call is missing a thought_signature". The app now keeps Google's signature and sends it back, and older saved conversations keep working.
  • New: the agent can upload files into web pages by itself (documents you attach in chat, files it makes, photos), for example to have a site read a document it can't.

  • Setup: the "where to get a key" steps are rewritten so you can follow them with no outside help, and no longer claim what a key starts with (Google's new Gemini keys start differently).
  • Browser: file uploads use the phone's picker, downloads save to Downloads (signed in), links that open other apps no longer turn into a blank page, and the agent is told when Google refuses a sign-in so it can take another route.

  • Sign-in popups now work in the agent's browser (e.g. Reddit's "Sign in with Google" used to open a blank page). The browser opens real popup windows, identifies as Chrome, and stops sending the embedded-WebView header that some sign-in pages block.
  • Battery: the background browser shuts down after 3 minutes without use (sign-ins are kept), and the agent's face only animates while it is working.
