Today I've been setting up my framework for running tests using Tensorflow. I am able to generate networks of arbitrary layers and layer sizes, and train these using MNSIT and my synthetic data. Tomorrow I will be looking to start submitting some jobs to BlueCrystal, and to see If I can use what I have to help me to design tests in the same way as were used in the optimisation research I mentioned in my write up .
