First public test build.

macOS — VST3 + AU. Mount the DMG and run Install FetComp.pkg — it lets you pick formats and install locations. Rescan in your DAW. Signed and notarized (Developer ID).

Windows — VST3. Run FetComp-1.0.0.msi — it installs to the system VST3 folder. Signed (PulSonix).

  • Circuit-modelled FET limiting amplifier: JFET gain cell, diode-bridge detector, Class A output stage into a physical transformer core
  • INPUT / OUTPUT attenuators (to -inf), ATTACK / RELEASE 1-7, ratio 4:1 / 8:1 / 12:1 / 20:1 / ALL
  • A/B compare, settings copy/paste via clipboard, latency-compensated bypass
  • Automatic oversampling: 2x below 88.2 kHz, native above (zero latency at high rates)
