Gesture Guard v0.1.5 — macOS camera fix (take 3).

The engine is packaged with PyInstaller's proper macOS .app bundle (correct internal layout, so no _struct / "Python not found" errors), and its libraries are signed individually so the bundled Python framework isn't corrupted. The .app carries its own camera-usage description so macOS prompts for the camera.

Install (macOS, Apple Silicon)

  1. Open Gesture Guard_0.1.5_aarch64.dmg, drag Gesture Guard to Applications.
  2. In Terminal: xattr -cr "/Applications/Gesture Guard.app"
  3. Launch it, allow the camera prompt ("Gesture Guard Engine").

If it grabs your iPhone (Continuity Camera), switch the Camera dropdown to your built-in camera.

Windows

  • Gesture Guard_0.1.5_x64-setup.exe (or .msi). SmartScreen → More info → Run anyway.
