Gesture Guard v0.1.7

  • Fixed the on/off toggle thumb positioning.
  • Added the microphone usage description (macOS WebKit's media-permission flow often requires both camera + mic declared, even for video-only) — this may be what was blocking the camera prompt.
  • The camera error now shows technical detail to pinpoint any remaining issue.

macOS (Apple Silicon)

  1. Gesture Guard_0.1.7_aarch64.dmg → drag to Applications.
  2. xattr -cr "/Applications/Gesture Guard.app"
  3. Launch → Allow the camera prompt for Gesture Guard.

If the camera still doesn't work, tell me the exact red error text shown in the app (it now includes a [ErrorName; secureContext=...] tag) — that tells me precisely what to fix.

  • Gesture Guard_0.1.7_x64-setup.exe (or .msi).
