GamesAI 0.8.1 — Self-updater fix
A small fix release. If you are on 0.8.0 or 0.8.0-SNAPSHOT, install this release by hand once — run !!MCDR plugin install -U -y games_ai on every instance — because the code that would perform an automatic update is exactly the code that was broken. After that one manual install, self-updates work normally again.
Fixed
- The self-updater now hands the plugin file to MCDR in the form MCDR recognises, and checks that the new version really loaded; a rollback only counts as successful when the previous version was loaded again too.
- When a failed update leaves the plugin unloaded, the failure is reported as a readable sentence instead of an untranslated key.
Everything from 0.8.0 is included (cross-server linking, stored conversations, the rest of the feature set), so a fresh install or an upgrade from an older release gets all of it.
Requirements unchanged: Python 3.12+, MCDReforged 2.15.0+ (Node.js 18+ only for the Mineflayer bot).
