  • Text and partial indexes are skipped on purpose. A log line such as "Skipping text index" or "Skipping partial index" means docStreamer left that index out so the target would not behave differently from DocumentDB. It does not mean index creation failed.

  • Text indexes also carry weights, a default language, and a language override, and DocumentDB does not support them. Creating one from the field list alone would not match the source.

  • Partial indexes only include documents that match partialFilterExpression. That filter is not copied. The same key without it would index every document, and a unique partial index would reject writes that succeed on the source and break CDC.

  • Create either index on the destination after the migration if the application needs it. The migration continues when they are skipped.

  • An annotated tag message is now copied into the GitHub release description when the tag is pushed. Use git tag -a so the release notes are published with the tag.
