Two features and one fix that mattered.

🌙 The display dims at night. If Belay is keeping the display awake and you step away during the hours you choose, it gently dims the screen and brings it back when you return. Off by default in Settings > Behavior. It uses the display's gamma table, so there is no overlay and no system setting to undo.

💻 Keep working with the lid closed. Available in direct builds and off by default. Once you approve the helper in Login Items, Belay can keep the Mac awake with the lid closed while an agent is working. It lets go when the work ends, when the time limit is reached, or if the Mac gets too warm.

🌐 Held through the retries. When a model is overloaded, an agent can sit waiting for a response without writing anything for several minutes. Belay used to mistake that silence for idle. It now keeps holding while a response is still pending, with a limited grace period so it can still let go safely.
