🚀 New Features

  • ZIP File Support: You can now enable indexing and analyzing of ZIP files in your watched folders through Settings > General.

    • Browse Without Extracting: View and manage 3D models inside ZIP files just like they were extracted - no need to manually unzip anything.
    • Full Preview Support: See thumbnails and 3D previews of models inside ZIP files directly in Modelist.
    • Open Directly: Click to view models in 3D or edit them without worrying about extraction - Modelist handles it automatically.
    • Clean & Tidy: Your original ZIP files stay untouched, and temporary files are cleaned up automatically.

  • Dark Mode: A dark theme for comfortable use in any lighting.

    • Easy Toggle: Switch between light and dark modes with a simple toggle in Settings.
    • Remembers Your Choice: Your theme preference is saved and restored when you restart Modelist.
    • File Re-rendering: Switching to dark mode will keep the white background of rendered images. This is now changed to transparent to work nice in both modes. Go to Settings > General, reset default color and restart rendering for subset of files.

⚡ Improvements

  • Groups: You can now add entire groups to collections, not just individual files. Enhanced drag and drop support for moving groups between collections.
  • Virtual Machine Support: Better 3D rendering compatibility for users running Windows in virtual machines.
  • Custom Images: Upload your own images for models instead of relying only on auto-generated thumbnails or downloads.

This release brings two game-changing features: work with ZIP files without the hassle of extracting them, and a sleek dark mode for comfortable sessions day or night.
