Returns the most appropriate non-virtual, connected IPv4 address formatted in underscore-delimited, zero-padded form.
Pads each octet to three digits (e.g., 192.168.4.42 → 192_168_004_042).
Prefers Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or Tailscale interfaces, while skipping virtual or disconnected adapters.
Maintains fallback to first available non-excluded interface if no preferred match is found.
Explanation
2.6.0 couldn't be released because it was already taken. I started working on 2.6.0 to introduce Get-PrimaryIPv4AddressUnderscore and then realized I needed to fix an issue with Get-UnderscoreTimestamp so I worked on and released 2.5.1. I to get across Get-PrimaryIPv4AddressUnderscore publishing 2.6.1
Notes
The new IP formatting aligns with underscore timestamp conventions for filenames and logs.
Intended for integration into transcript logging and file naming workflows.
