The first public release of Chatwire. It connects AI apps (Claude, Codex, Gemini, Grok, Cursor, VS Code and others that support MCP) to your WhatsApp as a linked device, as one program with nothing else to install.

Install

  • Ask your AI app: "Install Chatwire from github.com/PeterStoica/chatwire and link my WhatsApp."
  • Or give your AI app the installer for your computer from the files below, for example chatwire_installer_darwin_arm64.sh on a Mac with Apple silicon.
  • Or by hand: curl -fsSL https://github.com/PeterStoica/chatwire/releases/latest/download/install.sh | sh on macOS and Linux, or irm https://github.com/PeterStoica/chatwire/releases/latest/download/install.ps1 | iex on Windows.

Every file is listed in checksums.txt. chatwire licenses shows the licenses of Chatwire and of the software it includes.

Unofficial. Not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta. WhatsApp's terms do not allow unofficial clients, so using Chatwire carries a small risk to your account.
