What's Changed compare to previous v0.0.1

  1. Replace setup.py with pyproject.toml
  2. Updated env.yaml -> set pandas dependency to > 2.2 to remove version checks for .groupby operators in code
  3. Added precommit hooks -> install in conda env by running precommit install
  4. Overall updated docstrings and typehinting
  5. Change of file names and how classes are called
  6. Minor change to remove_short() function in tenax.py, addressing #9
  7. #21 Pull Request
  • Documentation update & bootstrap threshold change by @PetrVey in #21
  1. Updated missing documentation.
  2. Changed the threshold in TENAX bootstrapping to be calculated for each bootstrap sample.
This was discussed with Francesco months ago. The threshold should indeed be calculated based on the bootstrap sample, and its previous implementation was a typo in the original MATLAB package (Matlab was updated in late April 2025, so we followed).
  1. Move figures to plotting file
  2. fix some typos
  3. quantile regression uncertainty iteration hard-coded to 1000 (decrease of unc). We still must check on this later.
  1. Made read the docs https://pytenax.readthedocs.io/en/latest/
  2. Made three Jupyter tutorials, also available in interactive env of Binder
  3. Placed "rsc" folder into "src" source code folder
  4. This means that files are installed together with pyTENAX if the package is installed in non-editable mode.
  5. Changed how test data files are loaded (now loaded with importlib_resources.files)
  6. env.yml renamed to environment.yml
  7. Validation plot was updated (supports not including Tenax uncertainty with empty input)
  1. Released of version 0.1.0
