Formix Desktop v1.0.0

The first public release – a system utility for instantly inserting text templates into any application using a global hotkey.

Features in this release

  • Global hotkey Ctrl+F2 to summon the window
  • Window opens next to the mouse cursor
  • Create, edit, and delete text presets
  • Templates with {{Name}} fields, including reusing the same field multiple times within the text
  • Quick search through the preset list
  • One-click insertion via clipboard + Ctrl+V — works regardless of the active keyboard layout
  • Window closes on click‑away
  • System tray icon

Installation

Download the .exe below and run the installer.

⚠️ The build is not signed with a certificate – Windows SmartScreen may show a warning on first launch. Click "More info" → "Run anyway".

Known limitations

  • The hotkey cannot yet be changed through the interface (hardcoded to Ctrl+F2)
