Bosch eBike Flow Integration v1.0.0

First official release of the Bosch eBike Flow integration for Home Assistant! 🚴‍♂️⚡

⚠️ Requirements

Before installing, please note:

  • 🔌 ConnectModule hardware required (~€100-150, sold separately)
  • 💳 Flow+ subscription required (~€30-50/year)
  • 📱 Bosch eBike Flow app (Gen 4 systems only)
  • NOT compatible with older Bosch eBike Connect app (Gen 3)

Installation

Via HACS (Custom Repository)

  1. Open HACS → Integrations
  2. Click ⋮ menu → Custom repositories
  3. Add: https://github.com/Phil-Barker/hass-bosch-ebike
  4. Category: Integration
  5. Install "Bosch eBike Flow"
  6. Restart Home Assistant
  7. Add integration via Settings → Devices & Services

What's Included

Sensors (Enabled by Default)

  • Battery Level (%)
  • Battery Remaining Energy (Wh)
  • Battery Capacity (Wh)
  • Battery Charging (on/off)
  • Total Distance
  • Charge Cycles
  • Lifetime Energy Delivered

Sensors (Disabled by Default)

  • Reachable Range (only when bike online)
  • Charger Connected (limited reliability - see docs)
  • Lock Status (experimental)
  • Alarm Status (experimental)

Known Limitations

  • ConnectModule only updates when bike is charging/powered on/alarm active
  • Charger Connected sensor can't reliably detect unplugging (bike goes offline)
  • Lock/Alarm sensors disabled by default pending investigation

Example Automations

Stop charging at 80% for battery health:
