0.1.0 (2026-09-25)

First release of dash-loading-components: 107 loading indicators from 9 React libraries as Dash components, one install.

pip install dash-loading-components

Requires Dash >= 4.5 and React 19 (Dash 4.5 is a pre-release, pinned as dash>=4.5.0rc0).

One contract on every component

import dash_loading_components as dlc

dlc.loading_dev.Dual(size=48, color="#f97316", rate=1.5)
dlc.premium.OrbitRings(size=48, color="#f97316", ring_count=4, playing=False)
  • size, color, rate (relative tempo, 1.0 = this spinner's own) and playing (False freezes it in place) mean the same thing on all 107 components.
  • Each library's own props are there too, in snake_case, in the library's units (duration, speed_multiplier, ring_count).
  • Loading overlays are Dash's own: dcc.Loading(children, custom_spinner=dlc.ldrs.Ring()).
  • dlc.list_libraries() / dlc.list_spinners("ldrs") for discovery.

Families

loading-dev (29), premium-react-loaders (15), ldrs (12), react-spinners (12), react-loading-indicators (11), react-loader-spinner (10), spinners-react (9), react-epic-spinners (8), @alerix/m3-loading-indicator (1). Version pins and licenses in docs/UPSTREAM-INVENTORY.md.

Gallery

https://dash-loading-components.phylatech.com: every component with live controls and the exact call to reproduce it, search (⌘K), light and dark schemes, and a "Request a library" link to a pre-formatted issue.

Upstream fixes carried in the wrappers

  • premium-react-loaders: OrbitRings, AtomLoader and MobiusLoader keyframes corrected; the default speed token no longer collapses to a 1ms loop.
