Release Notes

• Added a No Blender version installed notification in the recent files burger menu if no Blender versions are registered.
• Improved the data quality in the active Blender version selector tooltip.
• Reworked the UI of the settings tab.
• Added new settings subsections:
  • Installed Blender Version Settings:
    • Open system console when launching Blender: Ensures the system console opens with the -con launch argument.
    • Run Blender instances in background during database refresh: Adds a sub-toggle to close instances automatically if not using the --background launch argument.
    • Change active Blender version through the Installed Blender table: Clicking on a version in the table sets it as the active version.
    • Minimize Blenderbase when launching Blender: Minimizes the Blenderbase window when launching a new Blender instance.
      • Currently, this only applies to new Blender instances, not recent or .blend files.
    • Process add-ons when launching Blender: Enables or disables add-ons saved in the Blenderbase database when launching a new Blender instance.
  • Downloadable Blender Version Settings:
    • Refresh downloadable Blender database when launching Blenderbase: Automatically updates the downloadable Blender version database on launch.
  • Database Settings:
    • Delete the entire database: Removes all Blenderbase database entries (excluding Blender versions and add-ons) and closes the app.
    • Delete the entire database, excluding the settings: Removes all database entries except settings data, then closes the app.
  • Updater Settings:
    • Check for updates when Blenderbase is launched: Automatically checks for new Blenderbase versions in the public release page on launch.
    • Check for update: Manually checks for a new Blenderbase version in the public release page.
• Moved the v1.0.32 Settings Devtools to the Installed Blender Version Settings.
