VM-Automated Windows prerelease. The published files are the exact immutable candidate artifact; they were not rebuilt during promotion.

The automated VM profile passed its authenticated hosted validation gate. Human visual/accessibility review, physical-media performance, and physical-power-loss durability are outside that automated guarantee.

Supports Windows 11 or later on x64, running without elevation. Rename operations require supported local NTFS paths; file moves require an existing folder on the same volume. Existing destinations are never replaced.

Portable means installer-free. Preferences are stored in %LOCALAPPDATA%\DarkReNamer, separately from the executable.

Validation covers the fixed Windows 11 NTFS VM-Automated v1 profile. Actual IME and Explorer drag-and-drop, comprehensive assistive-technology acceptance, VM reset and storage faults remain outside this profile.
