Wording only — behaviour is identical to 0.1.0.

Why

ICCOA CarLink is a standard jointly initiated by Xiaomi, OPPO and vivo, and CarWith, OPPO Car+ 车联 and vivo Jovi InCar are three front ends on the same protocol. Describing the receiver as "Xiaomi CarWith only" understated what it actually speaks. 0.1.0's repository, README and download page were already corrected; this release carries the same wording into the parts that are packaged inside the APK.

Changed

  • Home screen: da_description, da_hint and the eyebrow label now name Xiaomi CarWith, OPPO Car+ and vivo Jovi InCar together, in all six languages.
  • Legal notice (da_legal) in all six languages: now also states what ICCOA CarLink is — a jointly initiated in-car connectivity standard whose phone-side front ends are CarWith, Car+, and Jovi InCar — and lists OPPO and vivo next to Xiaomi, ICCOA, Google and BYD.
  • About screen: the description and the "not affiliated with" line now cover OPPO and vivo as well.
  • Support screen: support_rules_phone_desc asks for the version of the CarWith / Car+ / Jovi InCar app (3 languages).
  • Added Traditional Chinese home-screen strings (values-zh-rTW/diauto.xml). They did not exist before, so a zh-TW device fell back to English for the whole home screen.

Verified

Installed on a Newland NLS-MT9055-GL running Android 11 (arm64): installs, starts, advertises, shows a pairing code and reaches onInitSuccess() / startAdvertise() = true. Same as 0.1.0 — this release does not touch any behaviour.

Not verified

Installation and pairing on a production BYD or other head unit, and the instrument cluster / HUD projection paths, which are carried over from the base project and have not been exercised together with MiAuto's protocol stack.

Install

Download MiAuto-0.1.1.apk below and verify it against MiAuto-0.1.1.apk.sha256. It is signed with the same key as 0.1.0, so it installs over the previous version in place.

MiAuto 0.1.0 — first public release

Xiaomi CarWith on the car head unit, over ICCOA CarLink. Wireless, no dongle, no root, no
companion app on the phone.

What's new

  • Wireless Xiaomi CarWith reception on the car. The car advertises itself, the phone finds it
    in the nearby-device list, a 6-digit code is confirmed on the phone.
  • A 30-second re-advertise watchdog: while the car is unconnected it restarts its
    advertisement, so a pairing prompt dismissed on the phone comes back on its own instead of
    requiring an app restart.
  • The full settings tree inherited from the base project — connection, display, video, input,
    audio, backup, reset and diagnostics.
  • The inherited instrument cluster / HUD projection paths, for cars that expose those areas.
    Off by default.
  • Its own package (com.miauto.app) and its own release signing key, so it installs next to
    other receiver apps on the same head unit.

Verified on hardware

  • Newland NLS-MT9055-GL, Android 11, arm64: installs, starts, advertises, shows a pairing code,
    completes a CarWith session, and the pairing code survives a cold start.

Not yet verified

  • Installation and pairing on a BYD or other production head unit.
  • The instrument cluster and HUD projection paths. They are carried over from the base project
    and have not been run with this protocol stack, so treat them as untested.

Install

Install the APK on the car, not on the phone. Your head unit must allow APK installation.
Set up while parked. See the installation guide.

Application IDs: com.miauto.app (release), com.miauto.app.debug (debug, coexists).

MiAuto 0.1.0 —— 首个公开版本

小米 CarWith 上车机端。走 ICCOA CarLink，无线连接；不需要转接盒、不需要 root，
手机侧也不需要装任何配套应用。

更新内容

  • 车机端无线接收小米 CarWith：车机广播，手机在附近设备列表里发现它，6 位配对码在手机上确认。
  • 30 秒重播看门狗：车机未连接时会重新发起广播，因此手机上被关掉的配对弹窗会自己回来，
    无需重启应用。
  • 完整继承基座的设置体系 —— 连接、显示、视频、输入、音频、备份、重置与诊断。
  • 继承的仪表盘 / HUD 投屏链路，供开放了这些区域的车机使用，默认关闭。
  • 独立包名（com.miauto.app）与独立发布签名密钥，可与同车机上的其他接收端应用并存。

已在真机上验证

  • Newland NLS-MT9055-GL / Android 11 / arm64：可安装、可启动、可广播、可显示配对码并完成一次
    CarWith 会话，且配对码在冷启动后依然有效。

尚未验证

  • 在比亚迪或其他量产车机上的安装与配对。
  • 仪表盘与 HUD 投屏链路。这两条链路继承自基座，尚未与当前协议栈一起跑过，请视为未经测试。

把 APK 装到车机上，不是手机上。车机需允许安装 APK，请在停车状态下完成设置。
