Bug fix

Fixes a crash in SystemExtensionScanner reported on macOS 26.4.1 where the path-extraction logic in parseExtensionLine used a closed range that trapped when .systemextension appeared at the end of a line (or before the first /). Replaced with a half-open range and an ordering guard.

Install

  • Download MacPersistenceChecker.dmg
  • Drag to /Applications
  • If macOS reports the app as damaged: xattr -cr /Applications/MacPersistenceChecker.app

Universal binary (arm64 + x86_64), requires macOS 13.0+.
